The second session of the Farmer Field School for Toledo District was held on Saturday June 17, 2023. Mr. Leonel Requena, UNDP / GEF Small Grants Programme Representative, was present to give a brief talk to the farmers on what is expected to be achieved with these trainings and what future projects are in the pipeline with BLPA. Farmers were able to gained knowledge on animal nutrition and minerals during this session. In the afternoon farmers then proceeded on a practical session which involved elaboration of silage and multi-nutritional (minerals, protein & energy) blocks.
