Thee Belize Livestock Producer's Association in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise and the GEF small grant programme is currently conducting a Training of Trainers on VOISIN PASTURE ROTATION MANAGEMENT. A total of 81 livestock farmers from all across the country are participating. The experts are:Dr. Humberto Sorio and Ing. Paulo Aresi who came all the way from Brazil to conduct the training on VOISIN for our Livestock farmers.

The main objective of this training is to train farmers to become more efficient in pasture management and rotational grazing with the aim to increase cattle production without causing deforestation and for farmers to have a higher yield in profits. These farmers will be fully equipped to train other farmers after the completion of this course.

The Belize Livestock Producers Association is thankful for the continuous collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture Food Security & Enterprise, the GEF Small Grant Program and collaboration of Ministry of Sustainable Development on this endeavor.
