Belize Livestock Producers’ Association 46th Annual General Meeting

On February 22, 2025, the Belize Livestock Producers’ Association (BLPA) hosted its 46th Annual General Meeting, bringing together key stakeholders from the livestock industry to review past achievements, evaluate the financial performance of 2024, and discuss the future direction of the sector. The meeting also served as a platform to recognize outstanding contributions to the industry.

A notable highlight of the event was the address by Her Excellency Lily Hsu, Ambassador of Taiwan, who reflected on the strong and ongoing collaboration between Belize and Taiwan in advancing the livestock industry. Her speech emphasized the positive impact of this partnership and the potential for further growth and innovation within the sector.

The business segment of the meeting included in-depth discussions on several key initiatives designed to strengthen Belize’s livestock industry, focusing on sustainability, profitability, and industry standards. In addition, the meeting featured the election of five new board members, marking a significant step in ensuring the continued leadership and success of the BLPA.
